TOPAS COC in Medical and Diagnostic Applications
TOPAS is a unique olefin well suited to Medical and Diagnostic Applications. The basic properties, some applications, and molding will be discussed.
Our Guest Speaker -
Dr. Lamonte is a technical marketing specialist at Polyplastics USA working in the Medical, Diagnostic, and Optical application areas. He has more than 45 years experience in polymer R&D, processing, and application development. Dr. Lamonte earned his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in Chemical Engineering at the Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn (now named Tandon School of Engineering at NYU). Before joining TOPAS, Dr. Lamonte worked for many years at Ticona in Summit, NJ. Dr. Lamonte has several patents and publications in the polymer area.
